Vazamento de óleo não atingiu a Baía da Ilha Grande
A Fundação de Turismo de Angra dos Reis (TurisAngra), vem a público informar que a Baía da Ilha Grande e toda sua área costeira encontram-se na mais perfeita ordem, sem manchas de óleo e pronta para receber turistas e banhistas de qualquer parte do mundo. O vazamento de óleo ocorrido na sexta-feira, dia 16, não chegou a atingir nossas praias, e segundo informações do Inea, não foi necessária a formação de uma força-tarefa para conter o material porque o mesmo se dissipou para mar aberto.
Em nenhum momento a Ilha Grande foi atingida, apenas no sábado (17), na Praia do Bonfim e na Ilha dos Porcos apareceram vestígios de óleo, mas não ficou comprovado que essa pequena quantidade de óleo registrada seja proveniente do navio do qual o material vazou.
O presidente da TurisAnngra, Daniel Santiago, reafirma que Angra dos Reis está de braços abertos para receber o turista nesta temporada. “Apesar do incidente, Angra dos Reis continua linda e pronta para receber nossos visitantes. A Ilha Grande está com suas águas cristalinas e tranquilas, para que todos possam desfrutá-las”, enfatizou Daniel Santiago.
Cabe ressaltar que, segundo o secretário municipal de Meio Ambiente, Marco Aurélio Vargas Francisco, o volume de óleo que vazou do navio foi de 4 mil e 400 litros, e não 10 mil litros como foi noticiado. Ontem (20) foi realizado pela prefeitura um sobrevoo na área com analistas ambientais da Secretaria de Meio Ambiente e foi ratificada a informação de que a mancha já se dissipou e não atingiu nenhuma praia de Angra.
